Discover the Story Behind the Spotlight
Dr. Eva C. Brent graduated from Walden University with a doctorate in Human/Social Services with a specialization in Criminal Justice in August 2019. Dr. Brent’s dissertation was entitled Reintegration Process of Previously Incarcerated African American Women Older than 50 Years. Prior to obtaining her doctorate she received her Master’s in Psychology with a specialization in Social Psychology from Walden University and her BA in Liberal Arts from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Brent is working with the nonprofit Road to Redemption where she continues her work in reintegration.
Dr. Brent is a published writer with two publications Transformations an Anthology and Rewriting Her Story. Brent is a member of #ZetaPhiBeta Sorority, Inc., and is the past president of the Profound Pi Zeta Zeta chapter of the Inland Empire. Dr. Brent is a California native and resides in Southern California with her family
